Our Story
The Journey of Eli: A Global Odyssey of Hope and Healing
Fatosh Eliana and Yan Delgado's lives took an unexpected turn with the birth of their son, Eli Kaan. Eli, a Neuroatypical child, displayed remarkable talents but faced significant challenges. As his parents, they quickly realized that the world around them was ill-equipped to support him. Both public and private educational systems failed to meet Eli's unique needs, leaving him without the care and opportunities he deserved.

Determined to find a solution, Fatosh and Yan embarked on a global journey, searching for the right environment for Eli. They encountered widespread ignorance, denial, and a lack of resources in every country they visited. Schools lacked the structure to include children like Eli, while health professionals often failed to address his specific needs. Along the way, they met false prophets who offered empty promises, but also encountered a few extraordinary individuals and organizations who truly understood their struggle.

After years of searching and learning, Fatosh and Yan returned to Gibraltar and Spain. In 2023, they founded TIKUN, an association dedicated to supporting Neuroatypical children like Eli. Drawing inspiration from Le Silence des Justes in Paris and The Feuerstein Institute in Jerusalem, TIKUN aims to provide the understanding, inclusion, and empowerment that had been so elusive during their journey.

Through TIKUN, Fatosh and Yan are not just advocating for their son—they are creating a future where children like Eli are recognized for their potential, not defined by their challenges. Their journey has transformed from a search for answers into a mission to change the world for all Neuroatypical children.
Mission
Our Model: A Child-Centric Approach to Inclusion

At the core of TIKUN's mission is the belief that every child deserves to be at the heart of their educational experience. TIKUN's unique model is built around inclusion, where Neuroatypical children are fully integrated into classrooms and everyday activities alongside their Neurotypical peers.
This approach is not rigid but is instead tailored to each child's needs, supported by a multidisciplinary team of therapists and educators. Regular assessments ensure that the child's progress is closely monitored and adjusted as needed.
TIKUN's setup within schools, like the Montessori Sotogrande, is unique, offering specialized resources and therapeutic environments, such as sensory rooms, to enhance learning and development. By fostering an inclusive and supportive community, TIKUN empowers all children to reach their full potential, making society a better place for everyone.
Vision
Welcome to Our Tribe: A Community of
Support and Empowerment
At TIKUN, we believe that every child, regardless of their challenges, is a beacon of potential waiting to shine. Our tribe is more than just a community—it's a family where children and their parents find understanding, support, and a sense of belonging.
We have created a safe environment where every child is celebrated for who they are, and where parents are guided and supported throughout their journey. In our tribe, we value the wisdom of our elders, recognizing the importance of intergenerational connections that enrich our community.
We are committed to ensuring that our children grow up not only feeling included but also empowered to become independent, confident individuals.

Our mission extends beyond education and therapy; we strive to integrate our children into society in meaningful ways.
Through partnerships with schools, clinics, universities, and various community organizations, we provide our children with every opportunity to thrive. We believe in the power of community to transform lives, and we work tirelessly to ensure that our children are seen, heard, and valued.
At TIKUN, we are the voice for those who cannot yet speak, and we make sure that their light shines so brightly that the world cannot ignore it. Together, we are building a future where our children will not just be part of society—they will help shape it.
